Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in litigation support and a strong understanding of various areas of law, including Securities, Workers Compensation, Personal Injury, and Estate Planning. This role requires exceptional research abilities, proficiency in legal case management, and a commitment to providing high-quality administrative support to attorneys throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of litigation cases, including document preparation, filing, and discovery processes.
Perform document review and analysis to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.
Prepare trial materials and exhibits as needed for court proceedings.
Stay informed about developments in relevant areas of law to provide informed support to the legal team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field; Paralegal certification preferred.
Proven experience as a litigation paralegal with a strong background in Securities law, Workers Compensation law, Personal Injury law, or Estate Planning.
Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Exceptional proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
