As a Lemon Law Legal Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients seeking assistance with Lemon Law cases. You will play a critical role in gathering essential information, assessing the viability of cases, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of consumer protection laws, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients regarding Lemon Law issues.
Collect and document detailed information from clients about their vehicle, repair history, and other relevant case details.
Assess the validity of potential Lemon Law cases and determine if they meet the firm’s criteria for further legal action.
Communicate with clients to explain the firm’s services, intake process, and potential case outcomes.
Schedule consultations or follow-up calls with attorneys for qualified clients.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the case management system.
Assist in gathering necessary documentation, such as vehicle repair records, warranties, and purchase agreements.
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure a smooth transition of qualified cases.
Follow up with potential clients to answer any additional questions and provide updates on their case status.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1+ yrs of exp in a legal intake, customer service, or call center role, preferably in a law firm environment.
Can speak English and Spanish Language
Knowledge of Lemon Law or consumer protection law is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document client information.
Proficient in using legal case management systems and office software.
Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
