Position
We seek a dedicated legal assistant to join our dynamic legal team and support our attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Familiarity with Quickbooks Online and previous experience in a legal setting is a plus, but not required. Obtaining a Colorado Notary Certificate will be required, and at the firm’s expense.
Responsibilities
Scanning, filing, and organizing
Verbal and written correspondence with clients, staff, and other legal professionals
Screening potential new clients and obtaining pertinent conflict and contact information
Performing, preparing, and tracking conflict checks, intake paperwork, and retainer payments
Coordinating and scheduling meetings, civil deadlines, signings, and office events
Receiving clients for in-office appointments
Preparing mailings
Light office cleaning
Some office errands
Time-Keeping
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
Schedule:
4 hour shift
