Position: Intake Staff Lawyer Role at Law Society BC

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inquiries regarding the Law Society and complaint process
• Open, classify, and prioritize new incoming complaints
• Assess new cases for professional and competency issues
• Retrieve necessary information from complainants
• Provide strategic advice for effective complaint resolution
Requirements:
• Must hold practicing membership in the Law Society of B.C.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Mediation experience is desirable
• Flexibility for hybrid working conditions
