MUST HAVE TWO YEARS PERSONAL INJURY WORK AT PLAINTIFF FIRM
Responsibilities:
Drafting summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery responses and motions.
-Obtaining liens from Medicare and Medicaid
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed
-Request and obtain and review medical records
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation
Experience:
– 2 years paralegal in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm.
Proficiency in legal drafting
Knowledge of NYSCEF and electronic filing
Familiarity with Trial Works document management system systems
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skill
