$84,000 Base Salary + Monthly Discretionary Bonus (Average bonus $4,000+/month with potential for much more)

We are seeking a licensed attorney who is fluent in Spanish and excels at building trust, communicating clearly, and guiding people through important decisions. This is a client-facing, consultative intake role where you will help individuals facing criminal charges understand their options and determine whether retaining our firm is the right fit.
About the Role
As an Attorney Case Manager, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking criminal defense representation. Your role is to listen, assess, educate, build confidence, and guide qualified individuals through the process of retaining our firm.
This is not a litigation position. You will not be appearing in court or drafting motions. Instead, you will use your legal knowledge, emotional intelligence, and communication skills to help potential clients take action during one of the most stressful moments of their lives.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct 10–20 inbound consultations per day with prospective criminal defense clients
- Build rapport quickly with individuals who may be overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about their situation
- Gather relevant facts, assess client goals, and identify legal needs
- Clearly explain the firm’s services, process, and value proposition
- Discuss legal fees and payment options professionally and confidently
- Handle objections, provide consistent follow-up, and help qualified prospects make informed decisions
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and support staff throughout the lifecycle of a matter
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
Required:
- Active law license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
- Fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with Spanish-speaking clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple consultations, follow-ups, and client interactions each day
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience in consulting potential new clients, intake procedure, client conversion, business development, or other client-facing sales roles
- Comfortable discussing retainers, legal fees, and next steps with prospective clients
- Ability to build trust quickly and guide conversations toward a decision
- Criminal defense experience is helpful but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $84,000 base salary
- Monthly discretionary performance bonus (more experienced case managers average $4,000 + with uncapped upside)
