About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in insurance litigation, particularly first-party homeowner insurance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic legal team in Seattle, WA, offering a collaborative office culture and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, correspondence, and interrogatories/answers
- Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents in response to discovery requests
- Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, and trial preparation
- Prepare exhibits, witness binders, and demonstrative evidence for use in court
- Support the preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial
- Manage calendaring and scheduling of depositions, hearings, mediations, and meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a focus on insurance litigation
- Experience with homeowner insurance cases is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in legal software and document management systems
