A highly regarded law firm in Greece is seeking to recruit a talented Insurance Associate or Senior Associate (3–5 years' PQE) to join its established and growing Insurance and Dispute Resolution practice.
This opportunity would suit a commercially minded lawyer looking to develop a broad insurance practice encompassing both contentious and advisory work, acting for leading insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, and corporate policyholders.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full spectrum of insurance-related matters, including:
- Insurance coverage disputes and claims handling across a range of business lines;
- Litigation and dispute resolution matters arising from policy interpretation, indemnity issues, subrogation claims, professional liability, financial lines, property damage, and general liability claims;
- Advising insurers and intermediaries on regulatory and compliance matters;
- Reviewing, drafting, and updating insurance policy wordings and related documentation;
- Advising on the development and launch of new insurance products, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
- Supporting clients on insurance distribution, consumer protection, and conduct of business obligations;
- Working closely with clients on risk management, claims strategy, and regulatory developments affecting the insurance market.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Qualification as a lawyer in Greece ;
- Approximately three to five years' post-qualification experience in insurance law gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal team;
- Experience in insurance disputes and litigation, with additional exposure to advisory and regulatory insurance matters being particularly desirable;
- Familiarity with insurance product development, policy wording review, and regulatory compliance issues would be advantageous;
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills;
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken;
- A commercial approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage matters independently while working effectively within a team.
