Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and procedures, specifically in workers’ compensation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys in case preparation and legal research while ensuring compliance with all legal standards.
Responsibilities
Draft legal documents, such as motions and claim petitions, and correspond with judges.
Communicate with other law firms and insurance companies regarding client treatment status.
Provide clerical support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing case files.
Monitor the needs of all clients in our firm’s workers’ compensation case load, such as treatment and case status.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required;
Proficiency in LexisNexis;
Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation;
Exceptional multi-tasking and case management skills;
Strong written and verbal communication
Spanish and/or Portuguese-speaking applicants are heavily encouraged to apply!
