What You’ll Do
As an Associate Attorney, you’ll play a key role in client representation and case management. Responsibilities include:
Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (e.g., real estate deals, operating agreements, asset purchases)
Representing clients before town boards, planning/zoning boards, and municipal bodies
Preparing and reviewing legal documents for clients
Conducting research on a wide range of legal issues
Handling court appearances, depositions, and litigation filings
Closing transactions and managing due diligence
Overseeing multiple matters in an environment with short deadlines
Participating in networking events and client-focused functions
What We’re Looking For
J.D. and active license in good standing with the New York State Bar
Minimum 3 years of legal experience (transactional or litigation); experience with government agencies is a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to learn and grow professionally
Passion for being local counsel in Suffolk County
