As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate management of project contracts. Your ability to balance client satisfaction with company standards will drive success across all departments.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Serve as the bridge between client expectations and company standards, ensuring contractual terms and practices are upheld without compromise.
Translate complex contract language into clear, actionable tasks for project teams.
Communicate directly with clients to gather and confirm critical project details such as legal descriptions, bonding, invoicing, and ownership information.
Review, edit, and negotiate boilerplate language to protect company interests.
Collaborate across departments to ensure the scope of work aligns seamlessly with project bids and deliverables.
Maintain accurate project data by updating internal platforms such as Viewpoint, PlanGrid, and shared servers.
Prepare contracts for executive review and signature, and oversee timely execution and delivery.
In addition to the core duties, you will contribute to overall project success by:
Managing insurance program enrollments, including CCIP, OCIP, and similar programs.
Procuring and distributing Certificates of Insurance to ensure compliance.
Identifying critical project details and communicating them to Construction Management, Accounting, and Operations.
Supporting Construction Management in subcontractor/vendor coordination.
Helping internal teams gather and track essential documentation from clients.
Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Fostering a positive and collaborative office culture that values teamwork.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
A Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management or legal studies preferred)
At least 2 years of experience working with construction contracts or legal principles
Strong reading comprehension and the ability to communicate professionally and clearly in writing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with Bluebeam and Viewpoint, or a willingness to learn
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
