Insurance Coverage Attorney
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Compensation: $160,000 – $220,000
A well-established mid-sized law firm based in New York City is expanding its Insurance Coverage practice and is looking to bring on an experienced attorney. This position offers the chance to work on a diverse range of coverage disputes involving general liability, D&O, E&O, employment practices liability, professional liability, and commercial property and casualty matters.
What You’ll Do
- Perform detailed legal research and analysis on complex insurance coverage issues
- Prepare and review legal filings, contracts, and other key documents
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering clear and practical legal guidance
- Advocate for clients in litigation, mediations, and negotiations
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting insurance law
What We’re Looking For
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in insurance coverage and policy interpretation
- Solid understanding of insurance law and related legal frameworks
- Licensed to practice in NY and/or NJ (PA admission is advantageous)
- Hands-on litigation experience, ideally through trial, in state and/or federal courts
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication abilities
