Title: Inhouse Legal Counsel

Review, propose revisions to, and mark up (use track changes) commercial and legal documents (such as but not limited to proposals, POs, and contracts) in compliance with FAPL contracting guidelines, Fujitsu Deal Playbook, & Ask Legal within agreed Turn Around Time (within the day for NDAs and 3 days for others).
Attend and/ or facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and customers such as for but not limited to: alignment of terms, negotiate proposals and contracts, close deals, settle commercial disputes etc.
Advise on business risks for each opportunity, report and devise steps to address or otherwise manage or mitigate risk.
Issue Risk Assessments of commercial and legal documents using the prescribed form (Risk Assessment Form).
Endorse contracts for execution or signing using the prescribed form (Contract Authorization Form).
Customize templates for business pursued by FPI.
Fill out legal portions of forms required for Bid Assurance Review (Opportunity Reviews, Bid Assurance Reviews, Contract Assurance Reviews) as well as the Deal Risk Assessment Tool (for deals falling within the tool thresholds as may be advised).
Ensure timely briefing to all Legal stakeholders before regional and global OR/BAR/CARs are held.
Attend Bid Assurance Reviews (ORs, BARs, CARs).
Approve bids and proposals using the prescribed tool (Salesforce, CQS).
Keep abreast of legal developments and conduct trainings on topics relevant to the business.
Submit required reports on time (weekly OLA, Global Reporting Tool, etc).
Participate in team meetings and updates (as and when scheduled).
Issue legal advice or opinions on matters escalated to Legal.
Draft contracts and other legal documents required by the company.
Notarize contracts and other legal documents.
Conduct trainings.
Report to FPI office at least twice a week. (NEX Tower, 6786 Ayala Avenue, Makati)
Perform such other functions or tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
