Job Description
A national corporation is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal to join their team in their corporate office in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities:
- MUST understand and be able to monitor the entire commercial/corporate real estate process- due diligence review, contracts, closings, post-closings etc.
- Handle all developments- mostly retail stores, some oil leases
- Draft purchase agreements after compiling information from businesses
- Ability to communicate with whoever is necessary, including engineers, brokers, etc.
- Handle Secretary of State and IRS filings
Qualifications:
- Experience is more important than education
- Looking for AT LEAST 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate at a law firm, corporation, title company, developer company, etc.
- Preference for trust/estate experience – will be assisting w/ highly confidential bill, tax returns, etc. for the family that owns the business
- Ability to work fully in-office in DT Denver to start
- Ongoing will be able to work 3 days per week in-office and 2 days per week from home
- Self-starter, integrity, quick learner, responsible
- Looking for someone that will be interested in taking on additional responsibility as they master each set of skills
Salary: $90-$115k/yr.
