In-House Employment Lawyer – Maternity Cover – 12 months Our client, a large financial institution is currently looking for an Employment Lawyer with a strong understanding of HR practice standards. The role is to cover a period of Maternity Leave and will be for 12 months, starting Mid-June 2025. Our client is keen for someone to work on a hybrid basis with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Role responsibilities:

Providing legal advice and support to business and HR partners across the full employment lifecycle, including:

Recruitment and onboarding Performance and leave management Disciplinary processes and terminations (including redundancy) Drafting, reviewing, and finalising documentation relating to the above matters Managing and overseeing external counsel in relation to employment-related litigation Ensuring alignment with applicable UK employment laws and customary practices Whilst not essential, in-house or law firm experience supporting employment legal matters for financial services institutions is advantageous.
