Job Details:
Serve as in-house counsel for Dayton Children’s Hospital in the Legal Services Department. Provide legal services, assist with operational leadership, and assist with provision and coordination of legal services. Provide legal advice and direction to leadership, employees and retained legal counsel who act on behalf of DCH and affiliated entities. Provide support to the Chief Legal Officer.

Education
Undergraduate and post-graduate degrees, specifically a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably with healthcare law experience.
Must have a working knowledge of interpretation and application of State, Federal, administrative, insurance and regulatory laws and general legal issues that affect a healthcare hospital and related services.
Must be able to speak with, coordinate, provide guidance to, and assist management and healthcare providers at all levels of responsibility throughout the organization, as well as collaborate with retained legal counsel.
Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Must be a licensed attorney in the state of Ohio.
Must maintain memberships with local and state bar associations.
Must maintain memberships with state and national healthcare associations.
