Summary
Aspire Law Partners is a leading highly innovative California-based law firm specializing in family law and looking for an experienced associate counsel to join our growing team in a part-time contract role. This is a remote/work-from-home position servicing clients in Northern and Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, tech-focused firm at the forefront of implementing AI and automation to better serve our clients. Our firm’s mission is to ensure client satisfaction with a strong emphasis and focus on client’s needs, to provide exceptional case management service, and to develop and maintain a strong attorney-client trust relationship. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated family law attorney with 5+ years of experience to handle work alongside Lead Counsel and also 2 dedicated experienced Paralegals. You will report to the Managing Partner.
Qualified candidates should demonstrate the following:
licensed to practice law in California
5+ years of experience
will have extensive experience in California family law and divorce matters, especially handling complex financial issues, income characterization and occasionally some high net worth assets
demonstrate good negotiation skills in managed cases to avoid unnecessary litigation
adept at preparing a case for hearings and trials and gathering the necessary evidence
deposition experience
skilled at managing client expectations with a focus on client satisfaction
should demonstrate ability to working collaboratively with lead counsel, paralegals, and support staff
strategize under pressure, communicate clearly with clients, and make ethical decisions in nuanced situations
ability to operate comfortably in a high-tech, paperless environment
