Weiner, Spivey & Miller, PLC, a respected personal injury and medical malpractice law firm located in Fairfax City, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an in-office position where you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Management: Efficiently organize and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative assistance by answering calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining a well-organized office environment.
Client Interaction: Greet clients, assist with the collection of necessary documents, and foster clear, professional communication to ensure a positive client experience.
Team Support: Assist all firm personnel with administrative needs, contributing to a collaborative, team-focused atmosphere.
Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality when handling sensitive client and case information.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; additional qualifications or experience in a legal environment are a plus.
Customer service experience or client-facing roles preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to maintaining professionalism at all times.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Salary: $40,000, with adjustments based on experience.
