Your new role
As Regional Corporate Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting thepany’s legal operations across Ontario and other Canadian provinces. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of matters includingmercial contracts, regulatorypliance, risk management, and employment law. You will also support cross-border transactions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal alignment with business objectives.
This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining a high level of engagement with regional and national teams.
What you’ll need to succeed
A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
5+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of private practice and in-house counsel roles.
Strong background inmercial law, insurance, construction, or disaster restoration
is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, andmunication skills.
Must be fully bilingual, fluent in both English and French
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
