Our client, an established and highly successful privately held organization headquartered in Baton Rouge, is seeking an In-House Attorney to join its corporate legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to become directly involved in the business, work alongside company leadership, and develop broad corporate legal experience within a well-established, stable and still growing organization!
The role will provide exposure to a variety of legal matters involving corporate operations,
contracts, transactions, real estate, financial assets, and other business-related matters.
What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of legal experience
• Louisiana Bar admission in good standing — REQUIRED
• Experience with real estate matters and/or corporate transactional work strongly preferred
• Mortgage, lending, servicing, title, or related financial-services experience is a HUGE plus
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, business teams, outside counsel, and other stakeholders
• Someone comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative corporate environment
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a practical approach to solving business and legal issues
