We are hiring an Immigration Team Lead to take full ownership of case quality, team performance, and legal standards across a high-volume operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role — you will not only handle complex cases, but guide and oversee a team managing 200+ active cases at any given time (and increasing every month)!

What You’ll Own

Team Leadership & Case Oversight

  • Lead and manage a team of immigration consultants handling 200+ concurrent visa and work permit cases
  • Review team output and ensure consistently high standards across all submissions
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, direction, and decision-making support to junior team members
  • Act as the final escalation point for complex, ambiguous, or high-risk cases
  • Set the standard for what “excellent” looks like in case strategy, documentation, and communication

Legal Oversight & Case Quality

  • Apply structured legal reasoning across all cases under your supervision
  • Ensure compliance with Thai immigration laws, regulations, and evolving embassy practices
  • Identify risks, inconsistencies, and documentation gaps early — across both your own cases and team cases
  • Ensure all submissions meet embassy expectations and regulatory standards

Immigration Strategy & Subject-Matter Leadership

  • Act as the internal authority on Thai visas and work permits
  • Translate regulatory changes and real-world embassy behavior into clear internal guidance
  • Advise founders and leadership on case strategy, risk, and positioning
  • Continuously improve internal legal playbooks and knowledge systems

Government Relations

  • Maintain and develop working relationships with Thai government officials and relevant authorities
  • Navigate grey areas and evolving requirements with judgment and credibility
  • Support escalations or sensitive cases where external coordination is required

Process & Scale

  • Design and enforce SOPs that ensure consistency across a high volume of cases
  • Build systems that allow the team to scale without compromising legal accuracy
  • Reduce rework, errors, and compliance risk through structured processes

Product & Systems Collaboration

  • Work with product and engineering to translate legal workflows into scalable systems
  • Help define which parts of the process can be automated vs. require expert judgment
  • Provide feedback from real cases to improve platform accuracy and decision-making

Who We’re Looking For

  • LL.B. (or equivalent law degree)
  • 5+ years of direct experience handling Thai visas and work permits
  • Proven experience working with Thai immigration authorities and government stakeholders
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior team members in a case-based environment
  • Strong ability to manage high case volume without compromising quality
  • Excellent legal reasoning and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator in both English and Thai
