The NY office of a top global law firm is seeking a Business Immigration Paralegal with 2+ years of experience

Experience with consular processing strongly preferred.

Business Immigration Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to support its fast-paced, high-volume sports practice. This role will focus on preparing various employment-based visa petitions and working on consular affairs matters. This position will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and paralegals by streamlining workflow and ensuring timely case progression.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Intake cases, troubleshoot, and establish case strategy.

• Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency.

• Draft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits.

• Manage consular processing workflows for sports immigration matters.

• Monitor case statuses and proactively address scheduling or processing issues.

• Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients regarding appointment logistics and updates.

• Provide general administrative and immigration support as needed.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience:

• Knowledge of principles and practices, legal terminology and research techniques.

• Prior immigration paralegal or administrative experience preferred, ideally in high-volume practice areas.

• Experience with consular processing strongly preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree.
