Welcome to ZMK Law, PLLC, a boutique immigration law firm based in New York, serving clients across the U.S.
We are looking for a U.S. Immigration Paralegal (2–3 years of experience) to join our beautiful team. This is a full-time, remote position, for those who are available to work according to the New York Time Zone (ET).
This role includes working across a range of immigration cases; family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, SIJS, removal defense, asylum, waivers, and naturalization. This role is for someone who is already comfortable navigating immigration matters, and who is ready to rock & roll from day one.
Please note – We’re a busy, client-centered team, and this is not a passive role. It’s for someone who pays attention, follows through, and takes ownership naturally. Our cases matter, our clients rely on us, and our internal standards reflect that.
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Law or in a related field
- You have at least 2–3 years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience
- You have outstanding communication skills both in Turkish and English
- You are a strong writer with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- You communicate confidently, professionally, and kindly
- You are comfortable handling emotionally sensitive cases with professionalism and care
- You know how to work diligently without constant supervision
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced law firm environment
- You know how to manage a workload and prioritize daily tasks, especially during busy periods
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
- You take ownership of your work.
- You keep up with evolving firm protocols.
- You don’t wait to be chased; you follow up, close loops, and move things forward naturally
- You are comfortable using modern tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, BlueDot, HubSpot, etc.)
What You'll Do:
- Preparing immigration forms and supporting documents
- Drafting cover letters, declarations, and motions using pre-built samples
- Communicating with English and Turkish speaking clients on a daily basis
- Tracking case progress and maintaining accurate case management records
- Reporting weekly case flow, updates, and case statuses to the supervising attorney
- Conducting basic legal and procedural research when needed
- Enjoying professional growth while being part of meaningful legal work
Compensation:
Salary will be determined based on skills & experience. Rest assured, there is a clear path to compensation increase based on professional growth and performance.
