Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research and drafting, with expertise in areas such as workers compensation law, personal injury law, and tribal law regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. The Lawyer will be responsible for representing clients in legal matters, providing sound legal advice, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and contracts with precision and clarity.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to workers compensation and personal injury cases.
Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations while navigating complex tribal law regulations.
Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive support to clients.
Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in legal research, drafting, and case management.
Strong knowledge of workers compensation law, personal injury law, and tribal law regulations is preferred.
Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex legal issues.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
