Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in civil litigation, family law, and estate planning disputes in both state and federal courts.
Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials effectively.
Provide legal counsel and develop case strategies tailored to client needs.
Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution when applicable.
Maintain a strong understanding of court procedures, legal precedents, and current legislation.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
Collaborate with colleagues and legal assistants to ensure timely case progression.
Uphold ethical and professional standards in legal practice.
Key Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
3–5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in family law and estate planning.
Strong trial advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills.
Experience in preparing and arguing motions, depositions, and trial proceedings.
In-depth knowledge of court procedures, legal research, and case law analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
Strong client relations skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a legal team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
