Litigation Associate – Complex Construction and Commercial Litigation
Catania, Mahon & Rider, PLLC (“CMR”), one of the Hudson Valley’s most established general practice firms with a focus on serving the business and professional community, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its dynamic and diverse complex commercial, employment, and construction litigation practice groups.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in compound construction disputes and commercial litigation cases, including direct client contact, conducting and defending depositions, and attending court conferences and oral arguments.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and motions.
Handle all aspects of appellate filings, including drafting persuasive briefs, reviewing records, and ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients as part of CMR’s outside general counsel services.
Qualifications:
2-6 years of relevant experience.
Active New York license.
Prior experience in any of the following areas:
* Construction law
* Commercial litigation
* Contract drafting and negotiation
* Arbitrations
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work on and/or manage multiple assignments in a team-oriented environment.

Salary range: $95,000-$140,000.
