Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to
join our team
. The ideal candidate will have a passion for immigration law, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to serving clients from
diverse
backgrounds. As an entry-level attorney, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys on a wide range of immigration cases, including family-based petitions, employment-based visas, naturalization, and asylum.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents. Conduct legal research on immigration law issues. Draft legal briefs, motions, and memoranda. Attend client meetings and consultations under supervision. Prepare and review client correspondence. Represent clients in immigration hearings or interviews under the supervision of senior attorneys. Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations. Provide guidance to clients on the immigration process and timelines.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in [State] or eligibility for admission within a reasonable timeframe. Strong research, writing, and
communication skills
. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks. Fluency in [English/Spanish/other languages] is a plus but not required. Previous experience or internships in immigration law is a plus but not required.
