About this job:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and training is completed.

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database, including personal information, job history, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding employee data.

Employee Relations Support:

  • Assist in resolving employee queries and concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR matters and ensure a smooth communication process.

Performance Management Assistance:

  • Support the implementation of performance management programs, including employee evaluations, feedback sessions, and goal-setting.
  • Assist in the preparation of performance reports and development plans.

Training and Development Coordination:

  • Help organize employee training programs, workshops, and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and growth.
  • Monitor employee participation and provide feedback to management on training outcomes.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Assist in managing payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure that company policies are properly communicated and adhered to by all employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance with all legal requirements.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Gather and analyze HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key HR trends and areas for improvement.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.

Key Skills:

  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with employees, managers, and external partners. Ability to convey HR policies and procedures clearly.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Efficient in maintaining employee records and tracking HR processes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze HR metrics, employee performance data, and create insightful reports. Use data to inform decisions and improve HR processes.
  • HRIS and Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to manage employee databases, track performance, and ensure compliance.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide fair, efficient solutions.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws and Compliance: Basic understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure HR practices are compliant and reduce legal risks.
