Key Responsibilities

1. Waste & Environmental Management (30%)

  • Develop and maintain internal procedures related to waste management and environmental compliance.
  • Implement and monitor waste classification and recycling programs within the factory.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and collaborate with departments to improve environmental performance.
  • Monitor waste contractors’ licenses and legal compliance documents.
  • Prepare waste-related reports, invoices, records, and sustainability data.
  • Support initiatives on waste reduction, recycling, energy saving, and resource optimization.
  • Update environmental regulations related to waste, energy consumption, and air emissions.
  • Collect and prepare monthly environmental KPI (EKPI) data.
  • Support customer requests regarding environmental compliance information.

2. Environmental Audit & Sustainability Compliance (20%)

  • Support environmental audits from customers and third parties.
  • Deploy environmental compliance requirements and industrial standards to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate corrective action plans (CAP) and follow up improvement progress.
  • Maintain environmental compliance documents for certifications such as Higg FEM, GOTS, and GRS.
  • Update sustainability platforms and traceability systems as required.

3. Oekotex Certification & Traceability Support (20%)

  • Coordinate certification activities and internal training on standard requirements.
  • Work with third-party organizations on certification applications and audits.
  • Prepare testing samples and related production documents.
  • Track testing progress and certification status.
  • Support traceability audits and handle related documentation.

4. Other Responsibilities

  • Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to monitor compliance and certification status.
  • Support environmental and sustainability training for employees.
  • Organize environmental engagement activities such as Earth Hour, recycling campaigns, workshops, and tree planting.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, HSE, Technical fields, or related majors.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Environmental, Sustainability, HSE, or Compliance roles.
  • Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems, waste management, and sustainability compliance.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and drive improvements.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • English communication is preferred; Mandarin is a plus.
