We are looking for a HSE by Law to join our team at Bonatti Spa Dutch Branch in Porthos Project at Rotterdam (The Netherlands).

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) legislation.

Develop and implement a Compliance Assurance Plan.

Conduct audits and inspections as per the Compliance Assurance Plan.

Liaise with regulatory bodies as required.

Serve as the primary contact for clients on HSE matters during preparation and construction phases.

Collaborate with internal teams to define roles, tasks, and responsibilities.

Assess the company’s HSE Management System for compliance with local laws, regulations, and client requirements.

Identify and evaluate potential HSE impacts on early works and construction phases.

Determine mandatory HSE training requirements for site access.

Analyze HSE training needs based on legislative requirements and internal procedures to ensure necessary competence levels.

Stay updated on new HSE requirements and manage resources for legislative and regulatory updates.

Verify medical certificate requirements (FTW – Fitness to Work).

Develop safe operational procedures addressing all relevant hazards.

Advise on specialist areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safeguarding, and occupational diseases.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Internationally recognized HSE Management qualification (e.g., BSC, NEBOSH) or Master’s in HSE.

Knowledge of local (Dutch) legislation and relevant certifications as required by Dutch law for mandatory project HSE compliance.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.

Proficiency in Business English (B2 level or equivalent) and fluency in the local language.

Familiarity with business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
