As an HR Compliance Coordinator at GameStop, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our HR practices align with legal and regulatory requirements across our field and corporate teams. You’ll provide timely, accurate support while helping to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Your work directly contributes to minimizing costs and maintaining a high standard of operational integrity.

You’ll work independently on day-to-day tasks while collaborating with your team and leadership as needed. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a fair and compliant workplace.

This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.

This is an hourly position.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate the ordering and distribution of required federal and state labor law posters for new and existing store locations.

Conduct and update SOCOM wage determination audits; communicate changes to field leadership.

Oversee state-specific compliance processes (e.g., minor certificates, payroll certifications, termination notices).

Assist with unemployment cases and notifications.

Process subpoenas in accordance with company policy and timelines.

Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on company policies and procedures.

Support the development and implementation of new compliance protocols.

Contribute to updates of employee handbooks, policies, and internal HR documentation.

Respond to rehire inquiries regarding former associates.

Generate reports and data analysis as needed.

Assist the broader HR team with special projects and initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, compliance, or a related administrative function

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Analytical mindset with a knack for spotting trends and risks

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Comfortable conducting online research and navigating HR systems

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
