Role Description The HR Business Partner is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. This role works closely with leadership and team members to align people strategies with the organization’s goals and Shari’ah-aligned values. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on HR policies, supporting workforce planning, and coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and employee life-cycle processes. The HR Business Partner manages employee relations matters, provides guidance on performance management, and ensures HR practices are consistent and compliant with labor and employment regulations. The role also involves supporting learning and development initiatives, contributing to organizational culture, and maintaining accurate HR records and reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR), with experience partnering with business leaders and supporting organizational objectives.
  • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR Policies that are clear, fair, and aligned with local regulations and organizational values.
  • Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, including communication, conflict resolution, and coaching managers on people-related issues.
  • Practical knowledge of Labor and Employment Law in the UAE, with the ability to ensure compliant HR practices and advise on regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and performance improvement support.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • High level of discretion, ethical judgment, and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are advantageous.
  • Previous HR experience in financial services or Islamic finance environments is a plus, as is familiarity with Shari’ah-compliant business contexts.
