Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering legal documents and ensuring that all processes are handled in accordance with the law. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. As a Process Server, you will play a crucial role in the legal system by ensuring that individuals receive important legal notifications.
This position requires serving during the night at home addresses in the North East of Las Vegas or in the North West of Las Vegas. This position is paid based on piece work.
Duties
Serve legal documents such as summonses, complaints, subpoenas, and other court-related documents to individuals or businesses.
Maintain accurate records of all served documents and ensure proper documentation is completed.
Utilize mobile application to log GPS and provide real time updates.
Act as a courier for transporting legal documents between clients and courts or other relevant parties.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on the status of service and any challenges encountered.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the serving of legal documents.
Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a background check in order to obtain a Private Investigator’s License Board Work Card.
Proven experience as a Process Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in various situations.
Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is beneficial.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for document delivery.
Proficiency in filing procedures and experience as a courier is considered an asset.
