Legal Secretary- Legal Support Specialist
An established law firm is seeking a full-time Legal Support Specialist to provide high-level administrative support to a team of attorneys in litigation. This position involves preparing documents, assisting with trial and mediation preparations, managing case files, and handling a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and subpoenas.
Assist with discovery, depositions, and expert discovery.
Prepare and organize trial materials, binders, and exhibits.
Coordinate multi-document filings, including E-filings in courts.
Manage attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and client meetings.
Handle document production, billing, and time entry.
Provide general administrative support and manage mail and phone inquiries.
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in litigation support, ideally in a legal secretary role.
Strong knowledge of litigation laws and court filings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-filing, and document management.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range: $34.24 to $47.46 per hour, based on experience.
