Halliday Watkins & Mann P.C is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mail Room Clerk to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for mailing and filing legal documents. The role requires working with financial data, reviewing, and reconciling mail, and corresponding with Firm clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong self-initiative and the ability to work independently and multitask with little supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Mailing legal documents to several parties
Working with the firm’s mailing system, Neopost, to download packages and make sure legal mailing compliance rules are met.
Filing documents with different state courts
Working with the Neopost machine (machine loads and seals documents)
Working in the firm’s case management system and completing assigned workload
Corresponding with firm’s clients and uploading mailing regulations or proof of costs
Working with the Team lead to handle.
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Minimal data entry
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with mailing systems such as Neopost is desirable but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
Physical Requirements:
Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Able to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
