Job Title: Mid-Senior Level Health Care Associate

Client: Foley & Lardner LLP

Location: Tampa, Florida

Salary: $290,000 – $390,000

Job Description:

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a talented mid-senior level associate to join its premier national

Health Care Practice Group in Tampa. Our Health Care Practice Group represents a wide range

of clients, including physician practices, telemedicine companies, and numerous health care

entities, along with venture and private equity investors focused on health care and life

sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

 Assist in providing legal advice and representation to health care clients on regulatory

and transactional matters.

 Manage complex health care transactions, including issues related to federal and state

health care regulations and their impact on day-to-day business operations.

 Draft and review sophisticated legal documents related to health care transactions.

 Work closely with senior partners and clients, fostering strong relationships with both.

 Train and mentor junior associates, fostering an environment of collaboration and

learning.

 Actively participate in advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Health Care

Practice Group.

Required Qualifications:

 4-6 years of health care regulatory and transactional experience (candidates with up to 8

years will be considered).

 Strong knowledge of federal and state health care regulations, including their impact on

health care transactions.

 Proven experience in drafting complex legal documents.

 Ability to manage complex projects and legal matters.

 A dynamic and highly motivated attitude, with a strong work ethic and a positive

approach to teamwork.

 Excellent academic credentials, writing, and communication skills.

 Ability to interact directly with senior partners and clients.

 A JD from an ABA-approved law school.

 Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) in which the candidate

is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Florida Bar will be a condition of

employment.

 AmLaw 100 experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Sophisticated experience in working with health-care-focused clients.

 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collegial environment.
