Kopka Pinkus Dolin is seeking a full-time, certified Paralegal to join our established insurance defense practice in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for a heavy civil litigation desk.
Managing the litigation process for each of your files.
Drafting legal documents such as motions and discovery.
Working with medical records (summaries and chronologies).
Scheduling Independent Medical Examinations and expert depositions.
Assisting with trial preparation. Including but not limited to: trial notebooks, exhibits, jury instructions, and motions in limine.
Assisting with deposition preparation.
Skills/Knowledge/Education:
Knowledge of Outlook and Filevine, or other law practice management software.
Minimum of five years’ insurance defense experience.
Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
