We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal & Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to lead and strengthen the organization’s legal, governance, risk, and compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and enhance governance, risk, compliance, and legal frameworks across the organization and its subsidiaries.
• Develop and improve policies, controls, approval matrices, charters, and internal frameworks.
• Establish and maintain the enterprise risk register and oversee mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
• Provide practical legal advice on commercial, operational, employment, regulatory, and corporate matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts, legal documents, claims, notices, and other sensitive matters.
• Manage external legal counsel and support disputes, investigations, settlements, and pre-litigation matters.
• Provide legal and GRC support for strategic transactions, partnerships, restructuring, joint ventures, and investments.
• Strengthen internal controls and address governance and compliance gaps.
• Promote legal, risk, and compliance awareness across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications are preferred.
• Significant experience in Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance roles.
• Strong background in legal advisory, contracts, compliance, governance, and enterprise risk management.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and sound business judgment.
