About Us
At Square One, we build with precision and we close the same way. With over €150M in residential sales since 2021 and an active pipeline spanning Limassol, Paphos, and growing international markets, we are building one of the region's most ambitious residential development platforms.
This is a senior leadership role. You'll be the first point of call on every transaction, every partnership, and every compliance matter. You'll work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team to structure deals, protect the business, and build the legal infrastructure that supports our next phase of growth.
What You'll Own
- Sales contracts — Full oversight of all buyer-facing Sale & Purchase Agreements, reservation contracts, and conveyancing processes across our residential portfolio
- Acquisition contracts — Lead legal structuring and negotiation on land and property acquisitions, from heads of terms through to exchange and completion
- JV & partnership structuring — Draft and negotiate Joint Venture agreements, Shareholder Agreements, and SPV documentation for development partnerships with institutional and private capital partners
- Compliance — Own the company's KYC and AML framework end-to-end, ensuring full regulatory compliance across all transactions and business relationships
- Deal structuring — Advise senior management on the legal architecture of acquisition deals, fund structures, and co-development arrangements
- Risk management — Identify and mitigate legal risk across the business, from contractual exposure to regulatory change
- Team building — Over time, build and lead an in-house legal team as the business scales

- Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background in law (LLB or equivalent)
- Registered member of the Cyprus Bar Association (or eligible for registration)
- 7+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a mix of private practice and in-house
