Responsibilities:
Legal Support and Business Advisory
Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Advise management on legal matters, including the review of internal documents and contracts.
Ensure compliance with laws in jurisdictions where the company operates, including licensing, taxation, and data protection.
Monitor adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and KYC policies.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and prepare necessary reports.
Contract Management and Dispute Resolution
Develop, negotiate, and oversee the execution of contracts with employees, clients, partners, and suppliers.
Manage claims and litigation across all jurisdictions where the company operates.
Negotiate to resolve disputes and represent the company in court proceedings when necessary.
Intellectual Property Protection and Corporate Governance
Safeguard the company’s brand, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property assets.
Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures.
Prepare and manage documentation for shareholder and board meetings, ensuring compliance with corporate laws.
Team Management and Legal Monitoring
Lead the legal department, assign tasks, and monitor their execution.
Recruit, train, and develop legal department staff.
Continuously monitor changes in laws regulating the iGaming and High-Risk sectors, adapting company processes accordingly.
Requirements:
Higher legal education.
3 to 5 years of experience managing the legal department of an international company.
At least 2 years of experience in the High-Risk sector.
Knowledge of the laws of Cyprus, Russia, Armenia, and the EU.
Proficiency in English and Russian (C1 level).
High level of communication skills, ability to make autonomous decisions, systematic and strategic thinking, developed managerial competencies, and result orientation.
