The Role
We are seeking a senior legal leader to serve as the company’s Head of Legal. This role reports to the executive team and will be responsible for building and leading the legal function from the ground up. You will work directly with founders, product, and engineering teams on cutting-edge AI and blockchain products, regulatory strategy, and global expansion.
This role is ideal for attorneys who are deeply interested in AI, comfortable in rapidly evolving regulatory environments, and have experience in crypto, fintech, or emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal advisor for all corporate, product, and regulatory matters.
- Guide leadership through complex AI, blockchain, and digital asset regulations.
- Advise on data privacy, IP, copyright, and emerging AI legal frameworks.
- Draft and negotiate commercial, partnership, licensing, SaaS, and employment agreements.
- Support fundraising, token launches, and strategic investments.
- Build and implement corporate governance, policies, and legal infrastructure.
Qualifications
- JD from a top law school and active bar membership.
- 8+ years of experience, preferably in technology, crypto, fintech, or investment management.
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge in the AI industry.
- Experience advising high-growth startups or venture-backed companies.
- Strong skills in regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, and corporate governance.
- Experience with digital assets, blockchain, or crypto markets is a plus.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
