We are on a mission to help 80 million children in Indonesia live healthier lives, and we’re looking for a business-savvy, strategic Head of Legal to help us build a strong, sustainable foundation for growth.

As a fast-scaling FMCG company, legal strategy plays a critical role in ensuring that our products, partnerships, and operations align with regulatory standards while enabling innovation. You’ll oversee commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and strategic partnerships, including joint ventures and potential M&A opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Strategy & Corporate Governance

Provide strategic legal guidance to the leadership team, ensuring compliance while supporting business growth.

Oversee corporate governance, shareholder matters, and board compliance.

Structure and negotiate joint ventures, partnerships, and potential M&A transactions.

2. Commercial Contracts & Business Transactions

Draft, review, and negotiate supplier, distributor, and strategic partnership agreements.

Ensure contracts are structured to protect the company while fostering long-term business relationships.

Support international expansion and cross-border agreements where needed.

3. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

Manage trademark, copyright, and patent portfolios to safeguard brand equity.

Develop strategies to protect against counterfeiting, unauthorized use, and brand dilution.

Ensure compliance with marketing, advertising, and consumer protection laws.

4. Regulatory & Compliance

Stay ahead of FMCG industry regulations, including BPOM, Halal certification, and product safety laws.

Ensure compliance with consumer protection, e-commerce, and data privacy regulations.

Work closely with internal teams to integrate legal best practices into daily operations.

Support HR in building fair, compliant, and legally sound workplace policies in accordance with labor law.

5. Litigation & Risk Management

Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

Manage disputes with suppliers, distributors, or regulatory bodies.

Work with external counsel when needed to resolve legal issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

12+ years of legal experience, ideally in FMCG, or a high-growth company.

Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, regulatory compliance, and IP protection.

Experience with joint ventures, M&A, and complex commercial negotiations.

A pragmatic approach—someone who can balance legal risk with business needs.
