Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with firm leadership to oversee and enhance the provision of legal services in complex civil litigation matters. Develop and execute sophisticated and adaptive legal strategies to optimize case outcomes and workflow.
Lead and manage the supervision of all cases within the practice. Ensure timely execution of case deadlines and provide comprehensive evaluation, legal guidance, and oversight of attorney work product.
Actively oversee case management, deadlines, and trial preparations. Draft, review, and approve intricate legal documents. Direct and manage the firm’s trial calendar, ensuring efficient and strategic allocation of resources.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Mentor attorneys, support their growth, and facilitate the onboarding process for new talent to the firm.
Serve as lead counsel in select high-stakes cases, showcasing your expertise in court appearances and trial presentations.

Qualifications:

– Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

– Admission and good standing to practice law in California.

– Admission to practice in any of the following states is a plus: Washington, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Montana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Rhode Island, Florida, Alabama.

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex civil litigation.

– At least 2 years of experience managing licensed attorneys and support staff.

– Proven track record as Lead Counsel or Co-Counsel in civil trials held in State and/or Federal Court within the past 5 years.
