Multi-state law firm with offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Vermont is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.
Our firm represents mortgage servicers, banks, and card issuers in all courts, both state and federal. We specialize in commercial and residential mortgage foreclosure, debt collection and post-judgment recovery, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, evictions, loss mitigation, mediations, contested litigation, real estate, and financial services litigation. Currently we are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ample opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:
Interpreting laws, legislation or regulations, analyzing data, legal questions and existing evidence or facts
Case management
Conduct Legal Research
Draft various motions and written responses, including complaints, motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss complaints, and orders to show cause
Reviewing and addressing court and attorney correspondence
Education & Experience:
PA Bar Admission
0 – 5 years of experience in PA civil practice
Knowledge of PA motion practice
Ability to manage workloads and projects
Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel
Professional written and communication skills
Strong word processing and proofreading skills
Ability to work meticulously to ensure the quality of your product
Must have excellent phone manner and written and oral communication skills
Work well under pressure
