About The Role
The Governance Advisor provides high level administrative and executive support, overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the Office of the Chief Counsel and Executive Director Governance. Reporting to the Legal Practice Manager, the role provides a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government and private sectors. The role manages briefings, correspondence, meeting papers, reporting, and written materials, ensuring quality and timeliness standards are met. They build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work closely with senior staff to support effective operations and implement improved ways of working.

About You
Experience and Qualifications
- A qualification in business, project management, or working in government would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in managing and supporting departmental executive functions and processes.
- A strong understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is essential.
