Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Process Server to serve legal documents to individuals involved in court proceedings in Northern Minnesota. The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, and able to work independently while maintaining compliance with state and local laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve legal documents, including subpoenas, summons, complaints, and court orders, to individuals and businesses.
Locate recipients using investigative techniques when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of service attempts and completion.
File affidavits of service with the appropriate courts or law firms.
Communicate with attorneys, law firms, and clients regarding service status.
Adhere to all Minnesota laws and ethical standards for process serving.
Additional Information:
Flexible hours—work can be outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must be comfortable traveling within Northern Minnesota.
Background check may be required.
Opportunity for advancement into investigations if desired and qualified.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
