Job Responsibilities

  1. Legal Infrastructure & Risk Management: Lead the establishment and continuous optimization of the legal affairs management system for overseas entities, including internal policies, operational workflows, and risk control mechanisms. Accurately identify legal and policy risks in business operations, providing forward-looking risk assessments and mitigation strategies to provide core legal support for the formulation and execution of the company’s global strategy.
  2. Contract Management & Governance: Lead the drafting, revision, and review of critical legal documents for overseas business, including major contracts (such as investment/financing, cross-border transactions, and supply chain agreements), board resolutions, and internal regulations. Oversee the entire process from the perspectives of compliance, commercial applicability, and risk avoidance to ensure documents are legal and aligned with company interests.
  3. Dispute Resolution & External Counsel Management: Coordinate responses to various overseas legal risk events (e.g., breach of contract, infringement, labor disputes, etc.). Screen and manage high-quality external law firm resources to develop dispute resolution plans. Represent the company in overseas litigation, arbitration, and mediation to maximize the protection of the company's legal rights.
  4. Regulatory Tracking & Strategic Consulting: Establish a mechanism for tracking laws, regulations, and policy dynamics in key overseas markets. Regularly analyze the impact of new regulations on business, generating specialized reports and actionable decision-making advice for management and business departments to ensure global operations remain compliant with local requirements.
  5. Legal Advisory & Compliance Culture: Provide professional legal consultation and training for both domestic and overseas business units, addressing legal queries across the entire business lifecycle. Promote the construction of a corporate compliance culture to ensure that operational processes in all departments meet local laws and internal compliance standards.

Job Requirements

  1. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Law from a full-time accredited university. Must have passed the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination (Bar Exam). Holding a Lawyer’s Practicing Certificate or having experience in litigation/cross-border practice at a prestigious law firm is highly preferred.
  2. Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in overseas legal affairs, including at least 3 years in a legal team management role. Proficient in core regulations such as Civil Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Labor Law, cross-border data compliance, and Intellectual Property. Familiarity with the commercial legal systems of overseas markets (e.g., US, Europe, Southeast Asia) is preferred.
  3. Language & Resources: Fluent in spoken and written English. Preference will be given to candidates with strong existing relationships with relevant government departments, industry associations, or law firms.
  4. Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-departmental communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Rigorous and detail-oriented work ethic; high integrity and sense of responsibility; and an excellent spirit of teamwork.
