You support our team as

Global Contract Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • You further develop and implement contract management and administration processes in line with Freudenberg standards across our global organization.
  • Including process design, system implementation, migration and change management, you lead the replacement of our existing Contract Management System.
  • You design, evaluate and further implement a global contract lifecycle process covering contract review, approval workflows and signature authorization.
  • You review contracts from both an initial legal and commercial perspective, identify potential risks and coordinate follow-up actions, e.g. with Legal department, Compliance or Product Compliance.
  • Ensuring transparency, you contribute to the further development of governance, compliance, and risk management structures.
  • You improve contract retention, documentation and monitoring processes while driving digitalization and process excellence.
  • You establish and enhance global contract management standards, policies, and best practices across our organization.
  • As a trusted advisor and trainer for international stakeholders, you provide guidance on contract management processes and compliance requirements to our business departments.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in (Business or Commercial) Law, Economics with a strong legal focus, or comparable.
  • Profound professional experience in Contract Management within an in-house legal department.
  • Sound knowledge of contract law combined with a strong understanding of commercial and business-related considerations.
  • Experience in compliance-related environments, ideally with insights into Anti-Trust/Competition Law, Governance or Risk Management.
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in process optimization, digital transformation or system implementation projects.
  • Ability to balance legal requirements with pragmatic business solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, business fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Compliance Management systems is an advantage.
