The General Manager will be responsible for leading the overall operations, contract management, client relations, commercial negotiations, and business development activities of the security services division. The role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, profitability, client satisfaction, and sustainable business growth while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery across all security operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all security contracts, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure deployment of manpower, equipment, and resources in accordance with client requirements and contractual obligations.
- Develop operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor KPIs, operational performance, incident reports, and client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all security operations comply with local laws, licensing requirements, and industry regulations.
- Lead crisis management, emergency response planning, and incident investigations.
- Conduct regular site visits, operational audits, and inspections to maintain service standards.
- Optimize workforce utilization while controlling operational costs and maximizing profitability.
Contract Management
- Review, negotiate, and manage all security service contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, scope of work, and performance standards.
- Monitor contract renewals, amendments, extensions, and pricing reviews.
- Resolve contractual disputes and manage claims in coordination with legal and senior management.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure contract retention and long-term partnerships.
- Identify contract risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
Negotiation & Commercial Management
- Lead commercial negotiations for new contracts, renewals, variations, and strategic partnerships.
- Negotiate pricing structures, service packages, and commercial terms with clients and vendors.
- Prepare and review proposals, tenders, and commercial bids.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Support the finance department in contract profitability analysis and revenue forecasting.
Business Development & Growth
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market share.
- Identify new business opportunities within government, corporate, hospitality, residential, industrial, and critical infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and strategic partners.
- Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and prequalification documents.
- Participate in networking events, industry forums, and client meetings to promote company services.
- Establish annual sales targets and growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
Leadership & People Management
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to operations managers and department heads.
- Establish performance objectives and conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and customer service excellence.
- Ensure effective manpower planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage annual operational budgets and departmental forecasts.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, and cost-control initiatives.
- Review monthly financial reports and implement corrective actions to achieve business targets.
- Ensure timely invoicing and support collections to maintain healthy cash flow.

- Revenue growth and profitability.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Security Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the security services industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale security operations and multiple contracts.
- Strong experience in contract management, commercial negotiations, and business development.
- Demonstrated success in securing and retaining high-value contracts.
- Experience in Qatar or GCC security services industry is highly preferred.
- Valid security industry licenses/certifications will be an advantage.
