About the Role
The General Manager is the heartbeat of The River’s Edge—responsible for daily operations, team leadership, guest satisfaction, and maintaining the high standards that define our restaurant. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspires excellence, and builds strong relationships with both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate FOH and BOH teams to deliver outstanding hospitality
- Maintain a warm, professional presence on the floor during service
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and staffing needs
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards, cleanliness, and safety
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu rollouts, specials, and events
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Drive revenue through community engagement, marketing initiatives, and guest experience improvements
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care
- Uphold The River’s Edge brand, culture, and commitment to quality
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience (full-service preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage labor, budgets, and operational systems
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
- Experience with training, coaching, and developing teams
- Knowledge of POS systems, scheduling platforms, and inventory management
